Campanula means “little bell” in Latin and is the genus name of a family of flowering plants, commonly known as bellflowers. Some species are common in cultivated gardens, some species grow in the wild places, and some are considered “invasive”. All have their beauty and charm.

Campanula Psychological Services is owned and operated by Jane Rowley, a Psychologist in the Province of Alberta, Canada; and registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists, a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and the World Health Organization’s Global Clinical Network.

Jane has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, and a Certificate in Advanced Clinical Supervision from the University of Calgary. Along with other volunteer members of Psychology Works for COVID-19, she was a recipient of the Canadian Psychological Association’s 2021 John C. Service Member of the Year Award.
In a public service career spanning over 30 years of community-based mental health and inpatient mental health, she has experience in providing individual psychotherapy, psychological assessment and diagnostic testing, group facilitation, clinical supervision and psychoeducation.
Originally trained in cognitive-behavioural therapy, she has maintained and enhanced her skills in this area, incorporating mindfulness-based approaches to treatment, behaviour change and maintenance of mental health. She believes in a collaborative strength based approach, working with her clients to achieve their goals.

In her personal life, Jane is a gardener, animal lover and writer, celebrating life in all its exuberance and variety. Welcome into the garden. Let’s walk the path together for a time.
